When you go to test this, it's easy to infect yourself, and not that easy to remove it. If it comes down to it, I recommend the anti-spyware program XoftSpySE because its free, and I know it specifically detects Ardamax.
Also, anyone running a decent antivirus should detect a keylogger. However, because Ardamax is sold commercially, some antivirus programs will not detect it. So that depends on the user, but note that it is possible for this to be flagged as a virus, which will kill any trust your friend had in you when he accepted your file over AIM. |
