Pressing AP is safe as hell, For a detonator Use a drinking straw, 3inch long. wrap some tissue paper around a fuse and put it in to one side, pour you AP in and tap it so all the air pockets are gone. Take a tissue wad and pud it in the bottom, press it down with a stirring straw until it wont go any farther and your done.
