i didn't say that something you paint on a wall cant be art. I've seen some great murals in downtown Vancouver. I've toured hastings with my friends and climbed buildings to get a glimpse of my friend's new piece (ghost). But the word graffiti does mean that its art. the word graffiti means its vandalism. calling it graffiti just makes your art less respectable.
