only lye soaps made with animal fat have glycerine in it. i know this because i make and i sell soap to old women and people who like the all natural stuff(modern day hippies)
what u do to get the glycerine is to render the fat to render fat put all the fat in a pot preferable one that very big around and not very tall(if you dotn know what i mean by that go watch disney with the rest of the little kids)
melt the fat at a low or medium low temp then when ist half melted raise the heat to boiling but not boiling to the point were it splashes out(it hurts alot)
let it boil for awhile i usually let mine boil for an hour while i cook noodles and bake cakes(i sell bakery foods to old women and fat chicks)t
then i put all that while its still hot in a plastic tupperware (let it cool off a bit just enough so the tupperware can handle it
then put it in the fridge and let it sit over night i let it sit for 2 days
when u go to check it it will have fat all risen to the surface with a layer of muck at the bottom.but at top there is a clear layer of liquidy sometimes kinda thick depending on how good u are at this mass thats glycerine
