Sadly, a lot of walmarts are open 24/7 nowadays. But you do have a good idea there. They'd be too lazy at closing time to bother to check you. No one bothers to check the 23 year old goth girl for shoplifting... the teenagers always get it. Slipping something small down the side of a boot works just as well.
Another idea is to buy a pop or something at walmart and go through the self check out, but have something that might have a tag in your sleeve or pocket, so that you can casually glide across the thing that deactivates the tags. |
