It's viable if your friend feels like being charged as an accessory to a crime.
Seriously, your best option is to order to a neighbor's house who you know ROUTINELY comes home PAST typical Fedex, UPS delivery times for your neighborhood. Once it's delivered, you can run over and take your package.
