[Sorry this is in the middle of a new topic, I just posted this reply when I was on the first page of this thread forgetting the fact that there's a second page.] This is a major problem. Because of a few irresponsible idiots such as those parents handing their child a gun like that and psychotic murderers killing people, people think that guns are bad. Cases like this are exploited in order to make more laws destroying the freedom of the rest of us who use our guns safe and responsibly. And they don't realized that guns aren't even the problem, the problem is in the mindset of the people in charge of the use of the gun. It goes back to the false statement that "Guns kill people." Guns do absolutely nothing without someone using them. Guns don't kill people, people kill people. If a psychotic murderer wanted to kill someone, he would find something to replace a gun if he wanted one and didn't have access to it. People always try to blame something for their fallacies, when in reality, the fallacy is in themselves.
