I'm not aware of a way to imitate the security strip at this time. If there were a way I'm sure the technique wouldn't be easy or cheap. Maybe the same goes for watermarks. We shall see. I would work on the watermark before the security strip. Like I said, pretty much when anyone looks to the light to see if it's real they look for the watermark instead of a security strip. I feel as long as they see the watermark they do not check any other security features with the naked eye since seeing a watermark would confirm it as being real. Why check anything else? Hope it made sense. |
What I ment is ¨paper¨ that is printed by the gov. That paper and as for the printer there does not seem to be a general consensus of opinion on which works best. Lastly the security strip is not in the paper but above it that is it seems to be printed after or placed there after the printing.
