Define pale. Do you mean the black color is coming out grey or faded? Is the green coming out too light a hue? If so, you need to adjust your colors based on that. It may not look like the right color on screen but when printed out it should. It takes a lot of trial and error. I had that problem before, and i just started picking darker greens that looked wrong on screen but when i printed them out it looked right. Maybe my printer was messed up or somethng, i dont know.
