Hey guys,

So I pretty much figured out the answer to my own question about Sephora. I'll give my tips to those of you who want to steal their makeup (in case you don't know, they charge like $20 each for a single item like lipstick or eyeliner).

Go to a Sephora store that is within a department store. If you're eyeing a Sephora store that is exclusively Sephora, don't bother. They usually have more employees than customers. They prowl the aisles like wild cats stalking their pray. Every single person working there will ask if you need help within 30 seconds of walking in. It's a nightmare whether you want to steal or not.

If you go to a JC Penny, for example, that has a Sephora within it, perfect. There is usually only one girl working in the Sephora department, and Sephora does have aisles (it's not like the regular expensive makeup sections you find in department stores). The Sephora I went to had security cameras, but they were only focused on two sections of the Sephora aisles.

The actual stealing of the makeup was a cinch. The one woman working there came up to me, I asked her a few questions about makeup until she seemed annoyed, and then I did the whole "grab two identical items and drop one in your previous shopping bag" trick.

Now I have a question about booster bags. I know how to test one, and if I go through with it, I will use a Frederick's bag I have and just use it at the mall (since that's the one place where people aren't going to find it suspicious that you're carrying a bag). My question is, how many layers of tin foil will I need to make sure that it won't set of a single alarm?
