This is from one of the mods at RS (Alexires) according to a fellow at SM.
"It seems that a small orange was hacked twice and they pulled all their servers down (once about 3 weeks ago and the other time last week). Apparently, all servers are back online now but Mega might not have gotten around to fixing the damage, if any. That is as much as the moderators know at the moment.
It might be a case of wait out for it to come back online. There should be a reasonably up to date back up of The Forum going around (2-4 weeks old) but I can't find it atm. I'll do a mass email when I find out about it.
Don't stress just yet. Mega might not have been able to pay the bill (new financial year about now) and the site may have been suspended. No one knows just yet. The moderators are still free even if we don't know anything else. If we all suddenly disappear then start worrying." |
