Convenience stores tend to have several cameras recording throughout the day, but in most cases, nobody is watching them. Unlike large department stores, small shops can't afford to (Or don't want to) pay someone to sit in an office all day and watch cameras. At least a few of the cameras are often fake, in place only to deter potential shoplifters. The footage recorded by the functional cameras will usually only be referenced in the case of a robbery or similar crime.
If you can get in, conceal your merchandise without being seen by an employee, buy something small to avoid suspicion, then get out quickly, you will be successful. |
