In NZ the green party (ultra liberal) want to decrease the size of the NZ dairy herd because of the amount of methane the cows produce. They also wanted to put a "fart tax"on farmers to try and offset the "pollution" their cows cause through farting. Because appaerntly its really cows who are to blame for "global warming".
