Carrying six weapons is very impractical.
Primary: Any of the latest M16/ar15 models in .223
Reason= Ammo is lightweight for the power, its a very versatile weapon in the fact that a simple barrel change can change it between CQB and long range applications. Their double stack 30rnd mags are small and easy to carry compared to AK mags. They are stunningly accurate and with maintenance every second day wont shit out.
Secondary: Springfield armory XD40 or a glock sport of full size 9mm
Reason: both are reliable, both 9mm ammo which will never be difficult to find or make using spent brass. XD40 has a 20+1 round capacity without extended mag and glock has 19+1 with extended mag. That would be useful because mags are easier to carry than boxes of ammo and a long reload time often means death during combat. The glock sport with a tight barrel twist is accurate at ~200yards(man-sized target for a good shot)
Last resort/utility:
It would be a combination of a good multi-tool (stainless steel), A fixed blade sport knife such as a ka-bar and a saw that in my area is often called a jap saw. Its a flat bladed flush cut saw that can do flush cuts and cross/rip cuts. Its very useful and is easily sharpened.
How they would be carried:
The rifle would be on a sling on the back with either a quick unlocking clip or just a weak link. The pistol would be in a holster. Multi -tool would just be on a belt clip and the Dagger/ka-bar would be on the chest either on a vest or a backpack shoulder cross strap.
I am pretty sure these things would not last forever. I would stash things like ammo, weapons and parts whenever I come across them. I would do things like keep a record of stash locations. I would try to keep one grenade around but its usually impractical and dangerous to do so. |
