Angry Pisshead or you DO YOU just like a beer!

I've been there and i'm still doing that!
Do not think that at the age of 14 you can chillout with booze,it's a crap way to go into your teenage years,i've been there and done and i've done that,i'm not your mother,so take it from me "an old pisshead"
It WILL destroy you.
Do you/can you trust the people or so callled friends you are with? NO.
I started on the booze at 13,i'm now 41 and i've been through all the crap to stop drinking,i can't eat and find it hard to sleep.I've lost friends from drugs and glue.I've come too in my pants, other cloths gone.
Please think about your family and friends? before you start.
I've no problem with people/kids and the weekend pissup, but it can and will become every day!
I can drink you under the table bullshit has to stop, why lose all your "so called" friends testing this out.
I now say ok and buy them more.
That way YOU can say FUCKYOU HAVE ANOTHER BEER,but then are you there friend!

I'm 15 and am already starting to think that anything harder than weed and alcohol (in the legal sense) is not worth it. This notion excludes the annual acid trip.

half of that didn't make sense.
If your having that much a problem with booze stop drinking it.
its not hard. The only people that have problems with it are weak willed and are afraid to do something with there life.

We get lots of alcoholics coming in to the bar. They will come in on a thursday night with they pay and spend the lot on piss. I wonder how their families manage to make ends meet.

The problem with booze here is that it's so cheap,i used to drink a cheap cider that was 8.0% vol.It had the nick name "gut rot".I soon found out why.My body can't handle cider anymore,it goes in one end and out the other!Cheers John.

Most of my family on my mothers side were alcaholics. I enjoy a cold beer after a hard days work, or a couple of beers after a days hunting but thats all, I dont drink much at parties either, drugs are way nicer...

I like the "used to be a bad drunk" part!
Anyway it's pain and i've had my dose of that.
The only thing that helps, would be more of the stuff. Not nice or easy to recover from.
I think that the stuff drunk by your family member was moon shine, this can totaly scew you up.

Hello Master Lurtz, cold beer gives me wind, but it's nice to here from you and that you go the drugs way!
I've lost more friends from drugs than booze and i'm still here.Anyway it's good to talk about these things and due to the stuff i've done,i'm here to help, with the rest of bombshock.
Cheers John.

Dispite the wind do you still drink cold beer, cus warm beer is gross?

Thats interesting cus Ive lost no one from drugs but quite afew from alcahol... I guess that drunk driving is a bigger issue in New Zealand than in the UK

I hate to take the high ground here...

"Ignorance of self in animals is nature... Ignorance of self in man is vice."
- Self Control -

It’s just a substance, not evil, not insidious... indifferent.
It’s the irresponsibility of the person that ruins his or her own life. Quit blaming "substances" for human faults. There has never been - in the history of our species - a "drug-free" society. There will likely never be... its human nature. Learn some responsibility... virtue is often medicine. My life is in order and sailing, and I use such minor "substances" both recreationally and frequently. My own father used a moderate amount more than I and he's very well off - a great person.

Its base to blame anything so entirely indifferent. Among all animals, man's pride is the boldest. It makes humans blame unconcious matter for concious mistakes to protect our over self-worths.

Nah, it ws straight liquer. He'd drink as soon as he got up till he passed out again. But as for "shine" I have an uncle that makes it (legally). he sells it to where I work and we run our lawnmowers and one of or tractors off of it.... By the way in Georgia, it legal to have a small or make a small amount of shine but you cant sell it, You can just make it for gas or personal use.

Well, I used to drink quite heavily between the ages of about 15 and 20 and I worked behind some very nice bars for about 3 of those years. I used to enjoy it, never felt any kind of craving though, one of the few addictive substances, that i Believe is less likley to get me hooked than any other. I drank because I enjoyed a drink, mostly, not even to get drunk (Although this did happen lots and lots). I have a very expanded palate when it comes to alchoholic drinks, and can pretty much tell you anything about any of them EXCEPT WINE. Sorry, but I just don't get wine.

As I say though, I am alchohol free at the moment, For one reason and one only.

I decided to give up alchohol for a month just to get an idea of how much I was spending per month, and plainly and simply, never really wanted a drink again. It wasn't a conscious desicion, there's no moral stance or anything like that, I just didn't fancy it anymore.

One thing that I do enjoy though, is never being hung over. Life is good.

It happened over time,at first it felt like a bad back,i kept drinking and my piss turned brown, then it felt like i had been hit in the back with a baseball bat,i could not even walk and was in bed for a week drinking barley water,it did not stop me drinking,i was back on the dooze when i could walk again.I did not go to the doctors, but was told my kidneys could not handle any more booze,so shut down. The pain was mind numbing.

I'm 16, I enjoy drinking, it's a way to relax, allthough I have cut down to maybe twice a month because before I was getting hammerd at least once a week when I was 14/15. But I agree, drugs are better...

There's nothing wrong with the weekend pissup,it's when it becomes every day that you've a problem.
Drugs of any kind are the same,if you need a "fix" when you wakeup, then you've a problem that needs to be sorted.
I'm still off the booze and feel great,i just need to sort the sleeping problem out.

Very well done man. If you admit that you are an alchoholic, what you are doing is one of the hardest things you will ever do

Keep it up, you have my respect
