whats up with all these new post i keep seeing? are the spam? for example "

yes, it's spam. Scam shit.

I don't know anything about the mods as I haven't been around long, but what's already clear is the admins running the vbulletin software seem to have no time or knowledge to administrate it.

The ban list is lacking & IP ranges need blocking at the server firewall. There may or may not be some internal politics holding up the action but we'll likely never know if there is, as users. That's what the mod forum & admin forum are for.

Yes mods, there's an uber secret admin forum in case you didn't know... lol

Whoever has access to the server needs to add some IP ranges to the ban list, else you supermods or admins may have access to the local ban list & should really take a fucking minute to figure it out.

If you really care, report spam so it gets called to the mods attention as soon as they log on.

The forums were completely flooded, reporting a post wasn't going to make them see it any sooner than they would have.

I don't know what's happened in the last few days but the spam has gone ballistic. It's not like I haven't noticed. That said, there's not a whole lot I can do about it apart from delete it. User verification would be lovely if I had that ability, but I don't. Random used to have a line to the admin, xpl0siv, but I don't know what the story is with that now. Ask him. Anyway, I contacted the internet provider and I should be back to normal as soon as it takes for them to install it.
