I have to disagree with everything said in this thread so far. While I have questions about Midian, it's clear no one else in this thread has ever taken LSD. The fact that they feel the need to give advice on the subject is not acceptable.

To the OP, I'd take the LSD in a safe environment with a trip sitter, not in a strange city on holiday. Make yourself comfortable and have whatever you need on hand. Set aside at least 24 hours. Anything more specific?

Just don't be dumb about it, you could have a good time, but being around Vegas much of whats going on (hustle and bustle, lights, noise) could be very scary if you were in a situation in which you felt overwhelmed, just remember set and setting wherever and whenever you do LSD or any hallucinogenic drug.

Yeah, we don't need a "tripsitter" but how do you know how he is going to react to it?

He's with a friend who has done it before, which is good enough, but if he was alone in vegas on his first trip - things could turn nasty.

I would do acid in vegas now, but definately not for the first time.

Anyone who's taken LSD will tell you the first time to make sure you take it in a safe enviroment, like your house, or a close friends house. Somewhere you know well, and are comfortable in.

A "Tripsitter" as you keep calling them is a must the first time, acid is different from everyone and it's smart to have someone there who can help if things go bad.

Sorry a bit of an old post. I would recommend being with someone else who is frying too, which you would be. People not on acid while I tripped always made me feel uncomfortable. Not necessarily the general public but actual people hanging out with you. Everyone trips different tho. If you are an emotional person or easily depressed, don't do it. My first few times, I was just happy in my room or right outside my house with other people trippin. I played with a metal pipe for what seemed hours. Or trees are always good especially in a breeze. Vegas would be awesome, but maybe not for your first time. Unless you stay in a hotel room with a view of the strip; that could be cool.

I find one of the best things to do on acid is to hang with some friends and listen to music, either driving around, or at someone's house. Also CONVERSATE, you can get into such deep discussions about life, it's truly life-changing.

First of all I recommend not doing it in public unless your only doing a small amount. I also recommend keeping some OJ nearby just in case you start having a bad trip.

If you have done shrooms you will notice that acid is quite similar in nature yet different. I have always found the mind fuck from shrooms easier to manage then acid. The visuals are also definitely more colorful as well.

Unlike weed and a few other drugs like cocaine where you can control what you say or do easily hallucinogens are different. They make your mind race, you will find yourself giggling from the visuals you see most of the time.... Unless as I said it's a bad trip, then you may find yourself crying or even freaking out and acting like a maniac, so you gotta be careful.

The best advice I can give you is not to do acid in a public place for the first time. Make sure as well you have a sitter in comfortable environment... The sitter adds a sense of safety as well.

Doing acid in a casino or wandering the Vegas streets tripping on lights is highly not recommended. Chances are you will be overwhelmed by all the sensory input and people around you may freak out and in turn be arrested.

Do it at home or at a friends place, have a sitter, put on some tunes or some cartoons etc, have a good time.

Be careful to not over do it and good luck!

I definately think you need a trip-sitter, but I think that they should definately not be sober.

Someone experienced, who knows what they're doing should take the trips with you. It can be a little unnerving to be around someone who isn't tripping when you are and to be fair, it must be kinda boring being the person who has to sit and watch.

Excuse me, you think im trying to portray ACID from what ive seen on TV and youve never even dropped any ever, well GFYS (fiqure it out smart guy) And no if YOUVE ever tripped then you would know that being around someone thats nots tripping is not cool and well make you feel uncomfortable. First and foremost, I hope you have tried Magic Mushrooms at least ONCE, or another equal hallucinate before jumping right into LSD.

Acid, otherwise known as LSD is an extremely powerful narcotic which as we all know causes visual stimulation. I would firstly recommend having what most drug users term as "Ground control" one person who is NOT on the substance in case something goes wrong. This can seem sort of stupid at the time but I have personally seen it save lives. always remember when on drugs your logic and common sense are well up in the clouds along with the rest of you. So.. dont play with anything dangerous, such as weapons, explosives, or anything else that could possibly cause harm to yourself or another. Secondly. depending on the LSD obtained may determine your high. Clean LSD will almost always make you feel numb in senses and very giddy/happy. if the batch is cut with another substance or lower form of a derivative, it might cause panic attacks, or other sensations which in this state of mind can become an almost domino effect. (Such as someone thinking they are having a heart attack and suddenly having heart problems, AFTER being checked into the hospital)

Best advice possibly given is try to enjoy yourself while on the narcotic, and above all if you start to feel paranoid, try to seclude yourself for a short while. Vegas is a city full of bright lights and many visual spectacles which LSD will emphasize. This can be one of the best experiences ever in your life, or one of the worse. it really all comes down to how its handled.

Yea im thinkin of tryin it soon here to. just wonderin if this sounds like a good senario. me and my buddy are planning to go to a campsite (in the forest 10 min from anyone else) for the day hes gunna be doin a few pills and im plannin on doin a couple tabs. were gonna head out at around 9am i plan on takin it at around 8am were gunna chill there for the day but here is the hard part for me if i had to be home at around 630pm should i be okay? just a tid bit im 15, 5'9", around 120 pounds and quite experienced with mushrooms and E. please let me know what ya think.
