Stay calm, dont panic. Many times a panic attack can be confused with an overdose. Stay in contact with someone on a basis, tell them if they dont here from you to assume the worst. Believe you will make it, your body is very resilient. I assume you are not going to take anything in combination with your dose, although I might suggest some hot tea, a shower, some food to help your body.

Dont focus on how sick you feel, but how much better you feel when the effects wear off.

That is a good plan for those who are freaking out on drugs though.

For future reference, could you post a few details about what exatcly you took and what the nasty orderdose effects were?

One gram of lamictal, dose and drug.

The effects: Feeling exhausted for two days, 'out of it' like wile on a heavy dose of diphenhydramine, nausia only to the point of constantly gagging, never throwing up. The worst thing was the gagging, have you ever had hair caught in your throat? It's like that, only for 20 or so hours. You feel dehydrated, clammy, and you sweat a lot. You get headaches like never before, I've had migraines before, these were as bad if not worse.

If you would like me to extrapolate on any points, just ask.


I'd also like to note, for anyone who's used too much speed in a night, that it's like the feeling you get from that, everything except your energy is nil.
