So I did mushrooms last week for the first time. Actually, I was on mushrooms solid for 4 days.

Regardless, I fucking loved it and will be doing it again soon, but I wanna make the most of it. Much bigger doses and the right atmosphere.

Sooooo...

What's some great music to listen to while tripping? I'm not looking for any kind of rock music, unless it really is fantastic. More triphop/chillout please.

At the moment, I listen to a lot of Portishead, Massive Attack, Air, that kinda thing.

Any similar bands you can think of, or any experiences where particular tracks stand out would be appreciated. Also, this doesn't have to be about shrooms, but any downers (so no one suggests the latest club tune to go with Es).

I'm going to be doing shrooms this weekend . According to my friend who has done them a couple times before, music isn't really necessary to have an amazing trip, he said that he finds it an annoying distraction..

Nothing complex, you'll hate it. Simple beats, chill beats. Atmospheric music is the best, nature sounds/forest's/babbling brooks. Things like that are your best bet, ambience is the key.

Damn 4 days of shrooms did your tolerance not sky rocket. I envy you, i used to wait a week between trips. I personally hate being around people when i've taken shrooms. I've never really liked music while tripping but movies can be pretty interesting. It may be good to go for a walk somewhere whith no people such as woodland or something. Regardless of what you decide i'm sure it will still be good.
I wish i had shrooms when i saw Silent Hill, that would have kicked so much ass.

Genem: We started off on day one with a few grams of tackle and one box of shrooms between the three of us. Next day, we got some more tackle 'n' shrooms. Day after, we got two boxes of shrooms this time, more tackle and some salvia extract. Finally, the day after that we got even mroe weed, another box of shrooms and some herbal LSD stuff.

Constant trippin', almost. :^D

"Magic medicine" is a good trippin track, and when you're feeling thoughtful, tracks like "the warmth" are good.

Go to a large park, not a park with slides and swings, I mean a park with forest's and paths through them. Dose when you're comfortable with your surroundings and know your way, then wander around with your soundtrack of nature in surround true sound. Keep a cell phone on you, so at least you'll only be there for the duration of the trip should you get lost.

Bring bottled water, and eat a light meal before this. You may also want to have a few joints pre-rolled in case you have a rough trip. But try not to smoke too much weed with shrooms, I know far too many people with far too many tales of bad trips, they never seem to catch that it's always with weed or another drug involved. Mushrooms are a tricky bunch, they like to play jokes sometimes ;-).

okay first lets make cardboard paper to human size and look,(about 10 is good)then do holes in theyr eyes and put leds in eye holes (red are best) so they will glow red and if possible put remote on them or something that they will light each different time. then put some blankets on "human" targets(and yes i forgot you have to make them stand still so wind dont fall them,and you can make all of them little different,like sitting one,one standing ect..then reload radio with that music.Now your friends will take targets to dark hall or field,put radio on somewhere and spotlights on somewhere while you are smoking/shooting/taking your stuff.remember to take good doze.after that your friends will cover your eyes and start to take you to the hall or field.when you are in there your friends will go hidden and safe spot where they can light led lights,radio and spotlights.they give you reloaded gun and left you alone.

now the fun part begins :lol:

you gonna have to eliminate all the targets.there must be very dark so you cant see them well.your friends must be somewhere they see you and then light leds one by one hit the radio on and light the spotlights.

think about it:you alone in dark,high,scary and then suddenly red eyes start to glow,radio hits on,spotlights on

trust me this is fun go a head and try :wink:

Mushrooms make me flip out and get really confused, but I definitely like the dark psychadelic adventure aspect they always have. I have not done DMT, but my friend was able to, and not even at a high dose, and he said that his vision was just completely flushed with with metallic swirling shapes and faces and an insane body high and euphoria the very second after he hit the pipe. I just love the perception of psychadelics I had as a kid, I though it was just like putting on some funny glasses and 'seeing crazy colors and things'.

I would recommend listening to most any Bob Marley song while high on marijuana or shrooms. Although it is blankly obvious, you can get lost in the sounds and i have experienced mixture of senses such as feeling the sounds of "Stir It Up".
Definately a trip.
