SWIM is very happy to report that thier plant has sprouted sometime in last 2 weeks. SWIM's rough mesurement is around 3-5cm tall. is there anyposible way that SWIM can tell their sex at that stage?

No, there is a way to sex a plant early, but it's complicated and worth nothing. And you only get to sex it about a week or two early.

If anyone wants to risk losing a lot of yield and wasting time I guess I'll post it lol.

I didn't answer because I wasn't sure, and any information I gave him could result in him fucking up his crop - which I wouldn't want to happen - but that isn't the point I was making. The point I was making is that you were abusing your privaledges as moderator.

might not bne the greatest, over a hundred plants in one room... quite a good grow set up..

obviosuly those kids wertn behind it.. they woudlnt have the brains to buy hydro,and set it up like that. its too well funded.

You cannot tell the sexes apart until you/nature induces flowering. This is done threw changing the light cycles from 16+ hours a day down to 12 on 12 off.

about telling the sexes apart... looking above at the pic the male is the stem on the left and the female is the one on the right. If you have ever smoked weed you will notice the red/yellowish/orangish hairs on the bud. In a grow the hairs first sprout out of the calyx a white/clearish color and eventually mature to red. If your looking for a deep stone let them grow until hairs are dark red/brown and if you want a light "heady high" harvest your bud when hairs are orangish. And no like others said you will not be able to tell so early into it.

P.S. - get rid of the males asap unless you want seeds!
getting rid of the males also helps the plant put it's energy into creating thc rich trichomes instead of seeds making sticky icky head rush bud.

axekiller same happened to my crop this year 2 weeks later.. after it got in the wild.

inefficiency - I suggest you hold of till late march earylest.
by the end of september if you have your planted and they have a fair sdized root ball they may not stand a chance. dont risk those seeds

I don't really see how it will matter because I'm growing indoors anyway. I suppose th house wil be a bit colder than usual, but that can be fixed.

I'm not sure of the full grow details yet. I'm still in the planning.
I know it will be an indoor grow, most likely in a closet of some sort, with lights. I will easily be able to control how much light and/or dark the plants recieve and probably the temperature too.

Anyone got any advice on fertilisers etc, or ideas for the grow?

Do you have any ideas on the possible size of the closet and what strain of seeds you might use or number of plants. Another consideration is the smell, if you have the cash a carbon filter is well worth it. Do you have a budget as there are lots of little things that can increase the efficiency of the grow such as putting mylar on the walls.

I had a plant in an undisclosed location, it was run over by a tractor mounted mower. It lived. It was cut down from 4 feet to a little over two feet, and it had, or has ;-) buds growing on it still.

I'd just like to share that I fucking rock. My plants can be mutilated and still thrive. ^_^

Though, I'd rather not have found this out, ever... It was such a beautiful plant... :-(
