Bamboo Pipe/Bong/Smoking Device

There is this bamboo forest in my backyard and i want to make something like a pipe/bong outta it, someone gimme some ideas. I have no idea how i am going to accomplish this, due to the fact its wood, ive never made a wooden smoking device.

Cut a length of the a bamboo and hollow it and use it for the stem of bong, you'd just have to build bowl and the water bit. Cut a hole in the side of it, put a bowl in it and use it like a pipe.

(By the way, bamboo is grass)

i never knew that =P why thank you for that idea. I saw this guy on youtube that made a bamboo bong, and i wanted it 0_0!
