Rep Power: 0 | | Joint Rolling Well, sometimes I cheat, and I wrap the paper around something with the diameter of the joint I'm making, i.e. a pencil or marker. I twist one end (which I'll light) and then fill it up from the other end with the ground (or finely broken) weed. I pack it in there with a pencil so that it stays tight, and then I finish rolling the joint at the smoking end, sometimes adding a filter...
When I roll one the "right" way I still try to pack it with a pencil after I have closed one end. It's not perfect but it helps a little.
Hope this was helpful

Rep Power: 0 | | Try rolling using cigarette filters. I cut mine in half so they filter less THC, but it's easy to get them to stay in. A rolled-paper roach is more difficult.

Rep Power: 4 | | A nice and quick way to make a joint is using a cigarette. Remove the tobacco inside and pull out the filter. Then tear a small piece of cardboard off the cig pack or something of similar material and roll it so it fits into the paper shell. It will keep the weed out of your mouth but will let the high through. Then just put weed in your palm and carefully suck it up into the shell - and you got a nice joint!
Using prefab cigarette shells does just as fine, just don't forget to remove the filter, or you won't be able to suck the pot in it.
However, when it comes to pot, I'd suggest using bongs instead. Joints are a waste of good weed, most of it going up to contribute to global warming rather than to getting high. | | | |

Rep Power: 0 | | When you roll, make sure your hands are dry and not sweaty. The get your roach paper (should be thin cardboard-type material) and roll it tight, almost as tight as possible. Then while your squeezing it tight, fit it into the paper keeping pressure from the outside so it doesn't unravel. Then fill the paper with smoking material, and form your cone. It's important that it's a cone because if the diameter of the roach end is to big, the roach will be loose and the smoke mix with fall through. Make sure that through this whole process the roach is kept under pressure so as not to unravel. Form you cone and roll it tight around the filter. When you release the pressure the roach will expand and fit TIGHTLY into your cone, opening just enough to let you draw air through. Don't roll the smoking mix to tight, just the roach should be super tight.
Post script. I am SOOOOOO trashed right now, Suboxone and le herb

Rep Power: 0 | | there are many different ways to roll a joint it depends what type of joint you want.. but from the sound of things it sounds like you want just a straight joint tha looks like a cigerette.
so i use notebook paper (since im fucking 14 and cant get rolling paper) burns pretty nice. but you want to use a peice of paper that is about 1/4in. longer than what you want it to be and 1/2 as wide as it is long.
since i put the filter in first i will explain how to make one. i roll my own and i use strips of a a playing card or something of that material and thickness so it keeps the ash out of your mouth and doesnt filter any thc. i cut mine 1/4in. wide and 1 1/2in. long then you rolll it up so that is decently tight but you can still take a good drag with it thoughand then put a piece of tape around it so it stays that way.
now take the filter and and tape it to one of the edges and then put a crease in the paper (using the filter as a marker as to were the crease should be) the put your weed tobacco whatever in there and then roll it nice and tight and if there is still some room in the joint then pinch and fold VERY slightly just enough so that it stays tight then you should be good to go
P.S. this is just how i do there a many different ways and styles to roll roaches and u can u diferen t length sizes and materials it just depends all on what you like.

| Dude I feel for ya man thats harsh. Use paper from the bible its not rolling paper but its thinner, notebook paper has so much more carcinogens that you're fucking your lungs up so much more than a cigarette or joint. But literally rolling papers are like $1.30 for a 30 leaf pack.

if you cant get your hands on cigarette paper, then vapourize it with a lightbulb D: you shouldnt be putting the bloody paper smoke all over your lungs.

Rep Power: 0 | | Another alternative to lined paper might be a straw-wrapper? They're certainly thinner than notebook, although I don't know what sorts of chemicals are in them... Also seems like it'd be wicked easy to roll a joint with it, if you keep it intact after opening it.

Rep Power: 0 | | about those J So I rolled a good joint today. Here's what I did:
Got all the shake, and REALLY broke up some nug, very finely, and got that all together.
Then I used some card paper to make a filter (it was too short, make yours 1.5 inches long and you can hold onto it throughout the entire smoke.
Then I wrapped the paper around this filter, in a thin cone shape. Licking the paper and gluing it together held the filter in place.
I filled up the joint by carefully pouring/sprinkling the ground bud into it, making it fairly stiff.
Twisted the smoking end, and tore off the extra paper.
SMOKED AND ENJOYED in the woods under a huge tree sort-of in the woods and like a little room almost.
I did this around 12:00 noon, and it's 4:20 now, and I'm just getting down.
Not only was the joint almost perfect to smoke (even though it was a little harsh), it also kept me up till 4:20 - time for a bowl...

Rep Power: 0 | | If I want to roll a cigarette-type joint it's best to do it by hand. Their easier then cones and you don't have to pack it so it's faster. With a little practice you will start rolling perfect unwrinkled straight cigarette.
It's important that when filling your paper, your hands are completely dry (no sweat) it's makes the glue to tacky to roll properly. After filling your paper even out the smoking mix with your finger. Then use your middle to support the WHOLE length of the paper while using your thumb and forefinger to pinch and roll the weed into a log. Try and use the whole length of your fingers to make sure everything stay's straight. Make sure the log is not to tight, it's easier then you think when your using proper technique. When the log is formed, use you thumbs to roll paper down to the very edge of the smoking mix. Tuck it over the log(This is the part most people have trouble with) tightly using your whole fingers. Then just roll it up lick and seal keeping pressure throughout the whole thing
You should end up with a perfectly straight cigarette-type joint, but your not done. If you try and smoke it like this the weed usually falls through, especially if you roll fat. This is why we twist it at either end in opposite directions along the WHOLE length of the joint. This narrows the tips and creates the American-style twisted look we all love so much. Try not to just twist the tips like with cones. The whole joint should be tightly twisted.
P.S. Stoned.
