Ballasts and lights!

ive been wondering can a mercury vapor ballast be used on more than just mv bulbs? like hps or mh? vise versa? i searched google up and down and am still lost.

also has anyone had any sucess with grownin bud in an aerogarden? i dont know if the lights are strong enough to have good yeilds. i wanted to try some lowryder2's in it but dont wanna waste my money if it dont work.

All a ballast does is increase/decrease the power to match whatever wattage the lamp is. If the plugs fit and the wattage is correct, then it should work. In other words, if the voltage (110 or 220) and the wattage (400 or 1000w) are correct for the lamp you have, then it shouldn't make a difference.

I have a lot of friends that "grow"...if you have the means to grow outdoors, your yields will be 3 to 4 times more. My friend grew 6 plants (clones) indoors and got a little over 2 pounds, he grew the same 6 clones outdoors and got close to 8 pounds!! You do the math...

Also...if you're just looking for info or "tips" on growing, there are literally hundreds of good websites for this kind of info. If you google "Ask Ed", you'll find some of the BEST info anywhere!!
