Valentines Day prank HELP

Since the mods apparently thin that putting firecrackers in teddy bears goes beyond a joke, heres an alternative that i've thought up:
I get a small cassete player, put in a cassette containing Cannibal Corpse, put in on full blast,put it on a timer, stick it inside a teddy bear with a mooshy valentines card on it ,leave outside victims door, ring the door bell and run.
So theres the plan but I have a problem. How can I make a timer that I can put between the cassette player and its power source so that when it goes offit will complete the circuit and the cassette player turns on?
I thought of doing the alarm clock thing but then I realised that when the alarm switched off the cirucit would break so the cassette playe rwould turn off.
Any ideas o wise ones?

what about a digital timer, maybe using it with a relay would allow you enough juice to power cassette player.

what if you lifted a shitty mp3 player a hooked it to a speaker and then took what ever track you wanna play and added a minute or 30 seconds of no noise to the start of the track and hit play and ring the door bell and run
