Google "spoof service" for what you want. Some are free and others fee-based. Also, off topic, but Italian police are having problems with Skype. Seems they can't eavesdrop on those calls. Poor them.

Criminals in Italy are increasingly making phone calls over the internet in order to avoid getting caught through mobile phone intercepts, police say. The BBC reports. quotemarksright.jpgOfficers in Milan say organised crime, arms and drugs traffickers, and prostitution rings are turning to Skype in order to frustrate investigators. The police say Skype's encryption system is a secret which the company refuses to share with the authorities. Investigators have become increasingly reliant on wiretaps in recent years. ... Investigators say intercepts of telephone calls have become an essential tool of the police, who spend millions of dollars each year tracking down crime through wiretaps of landlines and mobile phones. But the law may be about to change. Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi's right-wing government has drawn up a bill which would restrict police wiretaps to only the most serious crimes.quotesmarksleft.jpg

Nah, those services aren't Skype-specific (or even work for SKype for all I know). However, they do allow you to spoof the # you're calling from.

You can sign up to Skype with any name you want, real or fake. Then buy a Visa gift card for Internet use. Then adjust your connection settings on Skype.

You can do this by going to the Options on Skype, head to advanced and then click on Connections. You can then use a Proxy server to connect to Skype. Try JAP.

That's my suggestion.

Well, I do not need to purchase minutes since the 1-800 dailing is free. When I tried using the JAP or TOR I don't see any info going through the activity meter for JAP or band width meter for TOR. I even adjusted my internet explorer settings, still no sign of using proxy. Are there any other work around this issue?
