Ways to control/monitor someone's computer?
I've been trying to find a way to monitor someone's laptop for a while now. Then dropped the idea, but now I have actual access from time to time when I visit this person. The only thing though is I can pretty much only do it when they are in the shower or a bathroom break. So it has to be something I can install quickly AND ALSO something undetectable for a long time. Well, not really a long time, just need to view some passwords and the like. But it'd be cool if I could have it secretly on their laptop for months.
The methods I prefer are keyloggers or trojan programs. Though keyloggers I've been frustrated with. I used Ardamax but I am confused as to how I can have it sent to my email. It kept saying this error; and also how would I get a log viewer?
Then there's Goldeneye, but it's only when people log on YOUR laptop. Still, I could risk installing it and then when they have A SECOND bathroom break or other random leave, I can quickly look up what they logged into.
Lastly, I'm interested in this whole "master/slave" program thing. How does this work exactly? From my basic understanding, one installs the "slave" on a foreign computer and then the "master" can connect to it from afar and control/install/download/view everything.
My only question is, does the master/slave relationship need to be in the same network? This person lives in another campus, as in an entirely different college, several miles away from my own campus. So we have different networks and all. Would that still work?
At any rate, basically, what are good keyloggers and programs to monitor/control another laptop from afar?
EDIT: Forget the keylogger thing, becuase I looked at the tutorial. So basically just monitoring/controlling programs would be nice.
