Question Getting a Myspace/Facebook Password

My plan is to create another email with the name of a friend of my "victom" and then send them an email stateing "Hey check out this band im in, they have a myspace with cool pictures of me" or whatever I choose to use. This will include a link that they will click on then send them to a fake Myspace or Facebook login page. Now what I like to happen is to have a program on my computer or something that when they login to this fake page it will send their password to me to this program or even an email? Now is this even possible? I know spammers use this method, however I never have done anything of this field.

I'm not overly familiar with phishing, so I can only suggest that you could keylog them instead. Use the tutorial provided in the Elec/Spy/Tech forum.

Phishing would be your best bet. Become a member of security forums and google stuff like myspace phish pages. Just do some searching. The only thing is you would have to host the log file on a server somewhere. I never really was into phishing. More into xss which was sorta the same thing in a way. Just a little different.

I have successfully phished some people in the past, but the exact process eludes me at the moment. I remember I always wondered about two things: is there any way you can actually change the URL of the phishing link so that the person really believes it's Facebook? And also, when they clicked on the fake login screen, it did nothing. Even though it worked and you can explain that it's probably a screwed up error, it would be better and less suspicious if it actually sent the person to the page while simultaneously phishing the login.
