how can I get started. All i have did was The Works and allminum foil in a bottle thing.

You can start by reading more posts like the AP sticky and the explosives 101 thread. A million people have asked this question, woulda been wise to check a few other threads before starting one. Anyway since you allready asked i advise AP or NC somthing of that caliber.
