i want to make a rocket that explodes on impact the only way i can think of doing this is with a bolt and sensitive explosives anyone have any sugestions thanks sokie
Another post of your said you wanted to make an underwater type sub. Is this what the rocket would be for?
On a side note, I think i might have a relatively simple way to do it. But it might take a bit of work to get the body part of your rocket right. From the top to bottom you would have a nail that would strike your detonator on impact. A spring fitting around the nail to soften any jostling that might have otherwise set off your toy. A detonator material inside some sort of enclosed space then a booster then your main charge. When your rocket hits a hard object, the nail will hit the detn., the detn. will detonate your booster. Your booster will then detonate your primary.
ya know... If you fill a graphite arrow with any suitable secondary you could use the thumbtack on a bullet thingie filled with ANYTHING BUT AP as a det.
