Rep Power: 4 | | Would like some advice If someone were to, in theory, fill a Ping Pong Ball with smokeless powder would it just burn or would it explode? I have seen it explode before but i dont know exactly how they did it. Any help is greatly appreciated. Even if it is an ass chewing by Corporal.

Rep Power: 5 | | Smokeless powder burns fast enough to burst ping pong balls. If you're going to do it then only fill it to a quarter for sake of economy and damage-limitation.

Rep Power: 4 | | Oh sweet thanks. If i were so inclined to do something like this, i would use the finest Smokeless powder available to me. Also someone i know...made a fuse out of a string coated in glue and drug it through Smokeless powder, it isnt too reliable but i think i should work for this, in theory of course. Thanks for the help.

Rep Power: 5 | | Don't do that, the water in the glue would interfere with the smokeless powder and make it ineffective. If that doesn't happen then you have the problem being that the fuse has an unknown burn time. It can take from 5 seconds to instantly- so imagine if it burned up instantly and lit the salute in your hand.
Either make blackmatch or buy commercial fuse.

Rep Power: 0 | | EDIT: Bollocks. When I wrote this, only the OP had posted.
Which type of smokeless powder? Maybe this has something to do with it? Just throwing in ideas here - I haven't really a clue in this area. Quote: |

Rep Power: 4 | | I have no idea what kind of SP it is. Whatever the hell my dad has, i took the finest stuff. The fuses have actually had very predictable burn times. And i am using glue stick so their isnt any water. I set off...in theory... a toliet paper tube filled with it, it had duct tape on both ends, the fuse failed though, so i just..in theory..threw a match on the powder and made a fire jet. If it wouldnt be too much trouble could you say how to make a blackmatch? I could search it if you didnt want to.

Rep Power: 0 | | There are most effective containers for black powder. Using those is much better for any use you may come across. | |
