Where can i buy a fuse?

i was wondering if anybody knew where i can buy a fuse. nothing fancy. just your normal fuse, like what you would see at the end of a stick of dynamite. just your basic fuse that you light with a match...

Usually you can find one in your basic fireworks stand or store. They are everywhere you just need to ask the people in a hardware store but try the first one i said with the fireworks stand i have like 19 packages of fuses at my home right now.

Your not supposed to put fuse in dynamite...

Unless your asking for match head/foil detonators or whatever they are called. Visco fuse can be purchased online and not be flagged by customs. An electronic igniter is better for most uses.

Where can I get "X" chemical?

If your jurisdiction has laws restricting the purchase of the chemical in question, tough. Due to the sensitivity and negative connotations associated with this hobby it is dangerous to post information which provides a person with a controlled substance.

Part of this hobby is developng resourcefulness and research ability. When I first started out, potassium nitrate was like gold dust, now it seems comical that I even struggled to purchase it, it's no more uncommon than table salt. In countries like Australia it is important to understand that possession of pure substances (such as potassium nitrate) is legal, therefore it is not impossible to obtain. Do enough research on forums such as APCforums and you will eventually find your answer, just keep trying. Pyrotechnicians prize their resources as a drug dealer would, therefore asking for those resources is akin to leeching off someone else's efforts. Get your own resources or get out.

you can buy fuse in most firework stands or in most hobbie shops,i also belive that many different types of fuse can be bought off the net from skylighter or other such sites,

if the worst comes to the worst and you cant get one. buy a few boxes of matches crush the end up and put the red stuff on a plate add a bit of water so its wet and mix it. then take some toilet paper tear it up into thin strips and cover the toilet paper with the paste. when it dries it defienetly works.

the last gun show i went to sold cannon fuse and had two different burning speeds, tto bad i couldn't get any
