make the composition into a slurry the consistency of whipped yogurt with the 75:25: solution, soak a length of string in this mixture for 5 minutes and remove using your fingers to wipe the excess off...DO NOT SQUEEZE the string you will ruin the fuse!

not finished

Water Proofing

take your dry black match and paint a thin layer of Shellac on it. the layer must cover the whole string with no gaps in coverage, do not use too much or the shellac will permeate the string and ruin both the burn rate and burn temperature.

allow this to dry for 12 hours NO EXCEPTIONS!

when fully dry you must repeat the process three times.

pics of the finished product comming

Looks good, how fast does it usually burn? My reg. (kno3) blackmatch was kinda sucky until i started to soak the string in a saturated solution of the oxidizer first, then dry, then onward basically the same way..
...Totally irrelevant curiosity... I noticed the lock and familiar style key in the second to last picture. Haven't seen one like it since... oh what you call it.. is there an interesting story you would like to make up for us about its source..?

Good guide, I didn't know shellac was a wood varnish, I may have to look into getting some.
