Golden Powder Aka Potassium Nitrate And Ascordic Acid

I can't find a post or thead on this stuff.
I've made and used it,it's very good if you've no ball mill and need a good lift powder/chunks,but it needs to be kept dry and can only be used as needed.
I do not want the mods on my back,so have used the search button and can't find it here (I may be wrong)
It's some times called yellow powder if not heated untill golden/brown,there's also a chemical that can be added with the kno3 and vitamin C,I've read that this makes it explosive,potassium /sodium carbonate may have been the chemical.It's made the same way as rocket "candy" fuel.I've not tested with carbonate one,due to it being called explosive!

It is strange that there's so may ways to make the stuff.
The one i use is in the title,but there's more out there!

Crimson Powder? Used instead of Black Powder for the ejection charge on rockets.
Also, it's Ascorbic Acid.

Go for golden powder,trust me it's great stuff,easy to make and better than crimson powder.But it must be made in a pan and not under the grill.This is best done outside.The only downside is the cost of pure ascorbic acid.I like the part in your link that lets you how to get it from vitamin tablets.Cheers John.
