Whats the best way to make a fuse at home?

Blackmatch works pretty well, although its brittle and has a somewhat inconsistent burn rate.

You could also use sparklers if you make sure to seal the device well to prevent stray sparks from igniting the composition.

if u can think of a creative way to get the smoke bomb mixture of sugar and potassium or sodium nitrate into a fuse like a straw or mixing the two in water and soaking a string in it then letting the string dry. but i would rather make sodium nitrate into nitric acid, I hear it works better. and potassium nitrate can be obtained easier... im rambling. oh yea take the fuse out of the box of saturn rockets that where i got my first fuses from

Or instead of all that bullshit that barely ever works you could simply make blackmatch like CanadianPyro pointed out. Which would probably be the best option for dselite if he can't buy it.
Also, yes please do attempt to make Nitric Acid, hopefully you will die before you find out you can't use it for making a fucking fuse.

Make sure to use the blackmatch with explosives. You only need a couple inches. =)
