getting gun powder from blanks

Hi I was wondering if it was possible to remove the gun powder from blanks if so how do I do that and how do I get the gun powder to go off in a explosive devise.

You must be a minor as I'm assuming you're unable to simply walk into your neighborhood sporting goods store & buy a pound of whatever grade gun powder you want???

Explosive device: If you can't educate yourself sufficiently to figure this part out, you shouldn't even be on the goddamn internet. There are infinite resources available on & off line to educate you in the methodologies of pyrotechnics in general.

All I need to know is what is the safest way to remove the powder I know the rest and I am in the uk so I cant go and buy gun powder

Are your blanks center or rimfire?

Anyway, a pair of wire cutters or shears of some kind (I'm assuming a brass cartridge) is probably your best bet, all things considered, but that's still likely not a "safe" way to open a live cartridge...

I haven't got any blanks left but I am ordering more and I forgot to put in my last post I am a minor.

I don't like contributing to the delinquency of a minor, but here goes!!
You can order gunpowder through the mail, I order much more dangerous shit on a regular basis. It might take a few tries to find a reloading supplier that will ship it, but they will. If you're trying to make M-80 type firecrackers, you can get everything but the powder from pyrocreations.com and you can buy both chemicals to make good flash powder at highqualitychems.com (yes, it only takes two chemicals) 70% potassium perchlorate, 30% blackhead aluminum powder (400 mesh or better) Do a little research, kid...I can't help all the time!! ha ha ha
