Aighty, i've started my little firework production and I'm working on shells now. Since I didn't see a proper thread on this yet, here it is.. This thread is about the shells and everything related including making stars and starpumps, making casings, charges etc etc.

Now to do the kickoff:
i was wondring if nitro cellulose (13%N) can be used as lift charge. Or maybe as burst charge..

Yes, but it's risky...good black powder makes a better lift charge. Check out pyrocreations.com You might be surprised at what you can find there...
