Little traffic nowadays, but I still check everyday. Is the site still being worked on? Is it going to go public soon?

We should try and have a group of 15 people make 10+ posts a day to get stuff going.

The problem would be coming up with good ideas for discussion without swamping the board with crap. I think there are 3 types of post (Help, Info and Debate ). If we can make some good informational threads, then people will have a better idea on the kind of knowledge that the members of the board have to offer. And may be more inclined to ask for help in those areas.

I was thinking of making a thread in electronics that we had on the old BS. It was a list of basic electronic components and a description of what each is and does.

The main reason for not posting was that there was talk of getting some of the stuff from the old BS. So i didn't wan't to make a big post and then have the stuff from the old BS turn up before i was finished.
I think we should do it anyway now to get things going.

Edit. Also a formula thread for electronics would be good, but the problems i see with that are the symbols for the formulas. And making alternatives could get confusing.
And maybe a thread on the kinds of equipment , both for construction and testing of electronic ciruits.

I don't think anyboy has heard from X in a while, so it might be a good idea to get some informational posts up, at least until we can source some content from the old forums.

The moderators should probably have enough knowledge that they can put together some threads in their own areas anyway. I wonder what sort of informational thread could be put up for Philosophy and Morals...
