Long serving members would normally get some slack, especially since he still answered the thread. It's not as if he joined this site with the sole purpose of advertising his products, so give him a break.

On the older bombshock i was around before synchronium, yet i'm completely happy to abide by the same rules as everyone else. If you condone that sort of attitude, you're probably the same type of cunt who doesn't think bullying at school or in the army is much of a problem, and we're going to very strongly disagree on the subject of hierarchies, so let's avoid bickering.
We're all here for the same reason, which is the sharing of information, and how long somebody has been a member on BS doesn't determine how valuable they are to the website. And however valuable somebody may be still does not exempt them from the laws we all agree to abide by when joining the forum
I perfectly understand somebody trying to earn some money and do not like shitting on his attempting it through this forum, but X has kept the site spam and advertisement free for just under a decade and it is irritating to see it begin now. It is especially because synch is an older member that he should have more respect for the integrity of the site.

Thanks for taking what I said out of context, regardless of what you think members who have been long serving to the site will naturally get some slack. He's still answering the thread and advertising, he's not forcing his products down your throat.

Honestly, who gives a rats arse? this is just like the thread about the main page maths being out of wack.

Alot of members are tied up in that forum work so advertising his site is advertising there hard work to find the needed information etc which will linkback here.

Oh if X had a prob with it im sure he would let us/synch know.

I suppose somebody has to say something...

The issue of Synchronium advertising his own website on the forums has already been addressed, in private, amongst the moderators. Some time ago, in fact. It was determined that:

the manner in which Synchronium's website was advertised was not inappropriate or invasive;
Synchronium's advertising was not an attempt to spam affilliate links, nor did the website have anything to do with affiliates or revenue via affiliates or advertising; and
Synchronium's website was one of genuine interest and value to several members of the Bombshock community.

The decision had nothing whatsoever to do with Synchronium being a moderator, or his length of time in the community.

Other members are welcome to advertise their own websites, but they need to be approved by the body of moderators - most likely on similar criteria as listed above, though this will vary based upon the varying topics, purposes and natures of websites.

To request a website to be reviewed, contact myself or another moderator via PM.

If you notice most of it is in drugs and to threads like where can i get salvia/seeds/bongs/legal highs etc so not really advertising more helping the poster out with a respectable and genuine "legal highs" shopping website.

It's also nice to know that with a site like Synchronium's to know that one of the people in charge has experience so you probably won't get ripped off.
