We've decided we need to appoint up to three new moderators for the Fringe section, for the three lower sections; Money, Fake ID and Free Living , Electronics, Spy Tech and Communication and Lockpicking and Auto Theft .
There are several pre-requisites. The member must be;
1. On Bombshock frequently - frequently enough to effectively moderate the forums (which I take as an average of once every two to three days).
2. An established member. No new names, sorry.
3. Knowledgeable on the relevant subject.
and 4. Must have shown a maturity and ability to deal with the shit.

Essentially we decided we need a moderator for each of the Fringe sections. Weaponry and Combat and Explosives and Pyrotechnics are already accounted for, which leaves these three. Members can either put themselves forward, or, preferably, be nominated by other members. Nominations (of either sort) should ideally come with links showing why this person would make a good moderator; basically demonstrating points 3 and 4 above (I can check 1 and 2 myself).
After nominations are in I may make up a shortlist in a poll, or just submit the recommendations (of myself and the other staff) to xpl0siv. Keep in mind though that the final decision is his and should he decide to appoint Midian and Anal_Blast, or no one at all, then that's the way it is. Keep in mind also that if one person is suitable for all three sections then we may only appoint the one moderator amongst the three, so feel free to nominate the one person more than once.

As already stated, there's a chance that no moderators will be appointed at all - it depends not only upon Xpl0siv's availability, but also upon the range and quality of applicants, and also whether or not X wants more moderators.
Do not ask about when anyone will be appointed et cetera. This is just a nomination and application process. Moderators could be appointed, and they could not be appointed. Impatience only reduces one's chances - because patience is an important trait to have, trust me...

If someone gives either of these two people moderator status over the "Lockpicking and Auto Theft" sub section, I'm taking my expertise elsewhere.
I post more informative stuff in a week than both of them have during of their entire tenure here, combined. And it's not bragging because I can damn well back it up.
I've yet to see anyone come anywhere close to my knowledge in the "Lockpicking and Auto Theft" area, and being that I'm not going to do it, the search needs to continue.  | |

If given the chance, I'm more than certain I could recruit hobbyists and those interested in these subjects as well began publishing comprehensive guides and maintaining an informative and thought provoking forum.

Rumors going round that I'm soon to be made a moderator.
Assuming this is true, I will have to decline for now.
Unfortunately I'm going to rehab on Sunday.
It's a resisdential program and computer time will be limited.
Maybe I'll still be able to access BombShock, who knows.
Assuming this information is true, I would glady accept mod status when I return.
Or if it turns out that I do have internet access.
Hope I didn't seem to pretentious.
