I realize it's a community forum intended to help people but I think everyone should post more tutorials then questions(even though all I post is ?'s). Even if it's simple like basics of port scanning or something like that.

yeah i think your right the tutorials are pretty useful, but the site is filled up with questions, most of which could easily be answered on a quick search of the web.

There is nothing to stop any member from writing up their own article or tutorial. If a member is an expert, it should be no trouble at all - and if they're not, well, they can use the opportunity to do some in-depth research about something, and then create a beginners' tutorial (big or small), and improve from there.

timcarroll, perhaps you would like to lead by example and post a small tutorial about a topic you are interested in?

Not a bad idea. The main discussion catagories i.e. Drugs, Alcohol etc.. should have subforums just for tutorials. Where there are no replys or questions just an area where a site reviewer can just read. Also making these tutorials a locked forum for members only would encourge new members to join. Anybody having questions for the writter of the tutorial could address the question in the parent forum. Good idea.

I was thinking. Every body is complaining about the quality of bombshock.
I figured out a way to hopefully stop most stupid questions, and make a lot of good tuts. I'll use the drug forum as an example. someone or some people should write a small guide about the most common drugs.

That will help keep out stupid questions like "what pills wil get me high?"

we can do the same thing for explosives. Like make a smal list of homemade explosives. like the cherry bomb tut grim did. And some other small explosives.
I think we need to just cover the small stuff. And let newer members read that and catch up and better understand other discussions.

Which would be the purpose of adding a tutorials catagory to each forum. Where senior members with a proven track record could post there findings.

Yea. Just people who know what the hell they are talking about can post there. Just one forum that new people can read and learn a bit about what we are talking about, and maybe they might ask a few less stupid questions.
