Black metal and death metal...
The old stuff from the 90's is way better than todays halfhearted blackmetal
BLACK METAL IST KRIEG!!!

Examples of black metal bands you like?
I've been worshipping Squarepusher at the moment. Anyone seen the Chris Cunningham video for "Come On My Selector"? Its amazingly made.

Black Metal
Some killer Black Metal bands; the true Mayhem, Immortal, Darkthrone, Xasthur, Nargaroth, Gorgaroth, Burzum... Dimmu Borgir and Dissection are also awesome.
Has anyone seen the cover of Cannibal Corpse's 'the wretched spawn' album, whats your opinion on the artwork? Do you think they have taken things too far or does it not really bother you? Just wondering.
It dosent bother me, but my mainstream mates were really offended by it. Lol

while i was in china my ipod got jacked so i listened to a lot of the music of the dudes i was with (5 americans, 4 brits). if any of your are into wicked good rap you can look up imortal technique, sweatshop union, example or plan b (the last 2 are brit rap and pretty wicked). and aother one i picked up was a band called infected mushroom. there rediculous a techno mix with a lot of drones, really trippy.

i know scroobious pip, he's pretty ill dan le saq is too. if you know any underground brit rap or punk do tell. most of my music is american i'd like a different angle on rap and punk. that dans le saq vs. scroobious pip cd is a class act.

Yeah, its not one of their best songs, I just picked that one for how cray they get at gigs. They kick off like fuck!
Their best work, in my opinion, was the album they did with Mike Patton singing for them. Patton is one of the best male vocalists ever to have lived - so its gonna be pretty good.

I wouldn't call Tool or Co&Ca prog rock... Meh, what do I know, I'm not even into either of them.

Seems that the majority of people here are headbangers
I also hold true to the Faith of the Horned Arm, although good metal is indeed scarce these days. I like Classical music, New Age and Ethnic genres too, and even a few pieces of rap, but something as horrible as Trance and R&B would be banned under penalty of death if I had a say over that.
