Rapidshare is giving out a limited number of free premium accounts. The catch is that you only get unlimited downloads for 2 days. Still i'm sure theres lots that can be downloaded in 48hours.

to search for stuff.

These accounts are usually all gone within ten minutes of being offered. Devoted folks use programs like RapidCheck to periodically check the Rapidshare site for free accounts.

Of course, a way to avoid the scampering over Rapidshare premium accounts and points is to encourage everyone to simply stop using Rapidshare to upload files, and start using alternatives such as Oxyshare and Oxedion.

Its hard to get anything from megaupload without having the premium... with all the caps they set and such... :-/
