You're browsing the gun section of the nearest Cabelas sporting goods/ hunting outlet. There aren't a lot of people there today. You start to walk to the fire arms section when someone interupts the fun.
"North Korea is attacking!" He yells. No one believes him at first but then he tells the guards what was on TV, and surely enough, the Emergency Broadcast issued an invasion warning. Unfortunately, it was already taking place about 20 miles away from the Cabelas and you don't know what to expect. From this point, what would you do? |

Are they using nukes?? cause in that case they'll have annihilated themself in a timespread of 24 hours. They'll all fly for 15 kilometres, drop in the ocean, create a shitty explosion big enough to cripple their harbours and marine facillities and defeat themselves.

I'm not sure that would even make the news.
Hopefully they would attack in the winter. It would be nice to see fireworks in December. I hear NK makes great bottle rockets.

How could they invade?, let pretend for a second they have the ships capible of carrying enough supplys and men, and lets pretend that South Korea wouldnt invade the moment enough troops left NK, and then lets pretend the US Intel units don't pick up the ships and lets pretend the US navy isn't around... The US air force would simply blow them out of the water.
NK entire armed forces is built around destroying SK. They have two fleets
The Yellow Sea Fleet, made up of six squadrons and approximately 300 vessels, is headquartered at Namp'o, with major bases at Pip'a-got and Sagot and smaller bases at Ch'o-do and Tasa-ri.
and the East Sea Fleet, with ten squadrons and approximately 470 vessels [versus 400 in the early 1990s], is headquartered at T'oejo-dong, with major bases at Najin and Wonsan and lesser bases at Ch'aho, Ch'angjn, Mayangdo, and Puam-ni near the DMZ
Most being small landing craft or missile boats. There is very little in the way of anything bigger than a frigte. They are for all intents and purposes a brown water navy
