For a while now i've been wondering what it would be like if say.... Oh idk perhaps one of us here becomes totally filthy-stinking Powerball rich, like triple-digit millions, and wanted to see what would happen if... We all met face to face. All of us usual suspects, of course not all 45,000 or whatever members, just a good hundred or few of everyone that either contributes well, has been here forever, or sticks out as controversial, pains in the ass, some random noobs and kewls and teenybombers, a good cross-section of everyone...
...Could you even friggen imagine what that would be like?

Visa's, airfare, comp for time away... Mods would be there too, (i'd buy headcase some large bodyguards, were it me ) Screw all the shit-talking, there'd be no internet to cower behind for the frequent flamers... Could you even begin to picture this? The madness that would ensue? Like name-tags and shit! The high-fives, the beat-downs, the bitch-outs, who'd be out back gettin ripped with slaited... Chaos. Would X have a throne? (would he even want to come?) Which frequent shit-talker would be the smallest?? Which finger is ninefingers missing? At some point I'd be bullshitting with X-ray Cat for about an hour, taking notes on graph paper.

And ohhh the party favors i'd have on hand were it me... Probably right next to the medical personnel.

We've discussed this before and concluded that very few of us would actually like to meet. We'd probably just be disappointed with each other. I mean, imagine if anyone found out their hero moderator headcase is actually a clingy fat Jewish woman?

Oh there'd be booze drugs and hookers.. I just think it would be fun to see. Like for instance, now i'm wondering if HC really IS a fat clingy jewish woman.. And disappointed with each other? Of course, thats half of the fun in the idea, seeing who's what they say they are and who is hiding behind the relative anonynimity of the 'net.
Its hard to imagine realistically what would likely transpire, would the whole thing dissolve into bickering and childish posturing? (oh wait we already have that) Or would we mostly get along after the initial shock of seeing each other for real, get liquored up and descend upon the host town in an insane, hilarious crime wave? THATS the part that is fun for me to think about, if every one of us and our myriad criminal skills of chaos were all unleashed at the same time on a small town like mine, law enforcement services quickly clogged with the easily caught noobs, while the rest of us blow shit up and spraypaint and basically party our asses off. The lockpick crew workin the shadows behind the liquor store, the foot soldiers placing the charges the 'splosives guys put together, diversionary fires starting here and there, 20 minutes behind the pyro crew... Good times.

Most importantly I think when we all got home and logged on, we would find that beyond being a super-blast, the whole thing would practically fix our forum. I believe that, however theoretical, it would save Bombshock. Pipe dream yes, but a fun mental excercise, and its an idea thats made to sell an ideal. Fill that line in yourself, but somehow i think that with enough rescources and perfect guidance, and a common ideal, there is nothing we couldn't do if we worked hard enough at working together.

I could blast you outta there with a carry-on and a smile for about 22 thousand dollars i bet. Anyway, forget it. Busy day today. Goin to jail soon. I think its half-ass jail, but still less than exited about it.
