How to pick locks commonly used in schools?

back when i was in high school we used to break open the locks by wrapping a sock through the loop and pulling as hard as you can untill it pops open.
trust me this works ive done it many times and i only weigh 120 lbs :]

i could only do it on the cheaper locks NOT the MasterLocks but my friend who was on the football team at the time cracked open a masterlock the same way (hes a lot stronger than me....lol) so its not impossible you just need to be Backed Up

the only thing is that you will break the lock and the person will know someone was in there.
so this isnt for a stealthy locker raid.

you could steal a lock from someone in the school and use that to make a master key. most school locks have a keyhole in the back. Look on you tube for a guide. all you need is a file and a key blank.

the way i did it back home is you take a putty knife the nice ones and you get it in the small slit in the spinner and the lock bace and pop the black spinner off then you will see all the moving lock shit take your putty knife and scramble the stuff up and the lock should fall off im at job corps right now and the master combo lock are mandatory to lock your stuff up so ya try it..

I might be wrong but i dont believe thats the lock hes talking about even if he said yes, because all the locks in most schools have a key hole right on the face of the spinner thing. There are two ways to my knoledge,(i hate spelling)

1: Pick the lock with the lock pick tools

2: now two is a little complicated
when you are all alone is the only time you can do this, so try to do it with an empty period you have, or get one, cause it takes a while(should work for your lock)

In most locks that have manual combinations(self set which most schools have because they change the combinations every year) have 6 sticky points,

what you do is spin the spinny part very slowly and it will be a rougher spin at some places. Rite the number down and continue till you have 4 or more. if you have over six give up.

Now its a guess and check from here, this makes it a lot easier then just guessing blindly,

I've heard about spinning the dial til it gets rougher, write the number, and repeat until you have all the numbers. I tried it back in school, and it never worked, but our locks might have been freshly greased, improved models, who knows....

I like the idea of popping off the face plate and doing it that way...I've got my project for the night. ;-)

if its a master lock that isnt actually installed into the locker and has the U shaped thing at the top you can make a shim out of a can it's worked for me

Well in our school if the locks are attached to the locker instead of just clingin on to it if you know what i mean-you kick the bottom corner on the left side and pull un the handle-thats what everyone does at my school-no one actually uses/knows their combinations-and and by the way after a long time it ruins the lockers

Flip the lock up so you can see the key hole (if there is one) and insert a hairpin. Push it up as high as you can in the lock and pull it out really quickly. This should open it. If is doesn't, get a torque wrench (screw driver, filed down allen wrench), insert it at the bottom, and move it clock-wise as far as it will go. Make sure you leave room for the hairpin and do the same thing with the hairpin. It should work I think

If you have a strong pocket knife stick it in the side not by the locker door but in between each locker

the lockers in my school are shit.....open one with a ruler the rest you can pull open........its not nosie either, which helps.....yeah they cant be locked but by then i have made off with whatever i was looking for.....and thanks to cutbacks ...no cameras, just a dopie rent-a-cop

Make friends with the janitor, snatch his keys, copy all the useful ones, then put his keys back, just under his desk or somewhere so it looks like he dropped them.

The best way to open a gym locker is a piece of iron rod.

The best way to open a shop locker is... im not gonna say, if you can't think of how to get a locker open in the school metal shop, you don't deserve to live.

if its a tumbler combination lock i find that using a shim is fast and very effective. Its also great because there is no skill involved
