ya it would work but as far as i know it would also suffocate them it burns their lungs, it'll burn skin, and if u mix it with ammonium something like that it will start giving off a very poisonus gas tht will basically burn your lungs shut

if u want a quick way to make thermite get a bunch of sparklers tiem together or scrape the stuff off
