How to park wherever you want without getting a ticket

This is a handy trick. If you park somewhere you shouldn't and someone else has done the same thing just take the ticket from their car and put it on yours.
now when the meter maid (or traffic warden) come back round and see the ticket on your car they won;t issue another one. You can simply come back to your car, rip the ticket up and drive off (or if you are more considerate and the other car is still there put it back on their car so they don;t get in a world of shit).

Alternatively do what I do and keep an old ticket in your car. Then whenever you park somewhere you shouldn't or want to skip the parking meter fines just put it on your windshield. No meter maid (or traffic warden) has ever sussed this when I've done it.

Grr, walking through town earlier i saw a car with a ticket on it, but it was surrounded by people so i couldn't swipe the ticket... I WILL get one to stick in my car for future use though!

That is a really great idea, I don't live in the city though so it doesn't really help me. I'll let my grandpa and uncles know though since they go to the city somewhat often, doubt they will use this though.

I was wondering if you could get a old clamp and put it on your car, the clampers will think you have already been clamped and so leave your car alone.

yeh but you'd have to pay the towers a fine. and then infront of them take your own wheel clamp of. makign them pissed and all that.

Anyone see that news thing on skynews showing the clampers telling people to park somewhere and then they clamped then and so on. Not very nice
