Hey infested I made two orders from him and got the second one, however I haven't received the first one. I've been dropping emails twice a week to him and got no response, but when I escalated my claim with Paypal he had tracking number next day for me.

I got my order from Perf eventually. However, it did seem to take escalating the PayPal conflict to a claim to get him to send it. I think you eventually get his orders. It just seems to be taking a while now. |

Hey I'm new to this forum but I had a question I was wondering if anyone could help me with. I am planning to print onto pvc cards and then place a clear sticky overlay over the card. I am planning on using pearlex mixed with speedball transparent base and a stamp of the desired hologram. Do you think I should put the pearlex (via the stamp) onto the sticky side of the overlay and then put it onto the card, or should i put the pearlex directly onto the card and then put an overlay over it? Thanks a lot |

The easiest would probably be to stamp the pearl ex dry on to the underside of the sticky. Ive done this a lot. I would reccomend Cleer Adhere 2mil sticky sheets. They are slightly thicker than the real, but easy to work with if you cant find real PVC laminates. |

Oh also I've been looking at the a UT license and the surface texture of the front is rougher than a usual card texture, I don't know if other states do this but does anyone have any ideas for how to re creat this texture |

Yes, I did cali I'm going to try to get some pictures. Some powders give it a too metallic looking color. I'm going to the store tomorrow to pick up some more powders and see if I can get something that looks less metallic looking.

I am currently using a pretty cheap laminator. It laminates well, but my cards tend to come out pretty warped. I normally put them under books or something to try to keep them straight, but the results are varied. What do ya'll do to counteract this? Also, what is a good laminator that is not to expensive that I could get? I have a feeling my problem is probably laminator related. |

I tried a couple different powders and had various results. Most of the holograms came out so weak that I couldn't even take pictures of them. The only result I got was from sparkle gold which gave a very metallic result and I highly doubt it would pass anywhere. I also tried interference gold, dou red-blue, and violet all of which gave a holo so weak that I couldn't even capture it with pictures.

If you have a working alps I can send you a sheet of the film, which you should be able to get about 4 die cut sizes out of.
