Rep Power: 0 | | Photoez can be great depending on the complexity of the hologram. TX, AZ, MI can easily be done with photoez. Socal was using photoez for his CA and his holos almost look like an Alps made them. @b4life if you want to send me a quality scan of the real barcode and your barcode I'd be willing to take a look at it.

Rep Power: 0 | | I still say photoez sucks. If you dont have an alps, do thermal transfer method. It is much easier than photoez, requires little material and you can do holos or UV powder even more detailed than the alps. Do that. |

Rep Power: 0 | | Code 128 barcode. Has DL#/ID# followed by first 5 digits of the audit number followed by 001 for DL or 101 for ID card.

Rep Power: 0 | | Thank you. The audit # is the vertical # next to the pic correct? So if DL# is 123456789 and audit is 123456789012 the barcode would be 12345678912345001? |

Rep Power: 0 | | Well b4life I looked at the stuff you were running and found some errors. First off, if your running the eval version of that software it is adding extra data to your barcodes. Second problem is that unless your keyboard foo is up to date you are more than likely missing the unreadable characters that are in the 2d barcode. I would recommend creating your barcodes using pdfcenter and not that program. If I were you id get take a hex value listing of the 2d barcode and put it into pdfcenter. If you don't know how to get a hex listing of your barcode let me know and I'll send you the hex listing.

Rep Power: 0 | | Noticed a couple other mistakes. I dropped you an email with 2 barcodes with your age bumped up one year. Let me know which one works or if neither of them work.
Edit: Didn't realize I had my clock rolled back a year so the age bump wasn't necessary.

I do not know of any printer similar to the alps. I called around to a couple companies a while back and they recommended creating your own driver to print the finish coat only.
About the audit number and dl# you get those by either having the physical id or DMV databases.
