Hey all, I just registered but I've been reading this form extensively and was wondering if anyone could PM me a CA Temp, the only ones I've been able to find are very outdated.

Also, I've heard that you can use boiling water to take apart an ID and reuse the top sheet that has the holos on it but I've looked all over and haven't found any explanation of how this can be done or if it is even an option. Any info would be great, thanks.

In my experience, yes. In my experience, i've made do with pots of boiling water. But laminators save time.

If you read this thread extensively then you would know how to make the CA holo. Read about the thermal transfer method and you'll see its pretty easy

Thanks for your response, I found the info on how to make a CA holo, but what I really want to know is if I can separate the original holo from a real CA id and then reuse it. I know people have talked about it, but I can't seem to find any info on how to actually do it or if it even works. Anyway I need to get my hands on CA temp first, if anyone has one please let me know.

hey the legal age here in aus is 18...my drivers licence says 16...is there anyway to turn that 1992 to a 1990 on my licence?

well I asked this question multiple times and noone seemed to know, so im gonna throw this out there. I wanted to attempt the thermal transfer method, but for the life of my could not figure out how to print the text onto the butterfly pouch. Well here it is. You need double sided scotch tape and a normal printer. Once you have your template ready, take the pouch and tape it in the middle of the page, 6 1/4 inches from the bottom. Print as normal and it should be correctly alligned on the sheet. This works with my lexmark printer, and hopefully it will be of use to someone else on this board.

wrong my friend! print the holo at a very light opacity of like 35% on a transparency sheet. set printer to photo glossy setting. print the holo on the transparency sheet and sprinkle the pearlex imediately after it comes out the printer on the holo's that were just printed. then carefully dust it with a soft brush ( like girls use for putting on blush) and some air dust, or if you wanna be anal, you can put a laminate sheet over the transparency and rub a coin flat over the laminate on the transparency to pick up any extra pearl-ex. once done, take your butterfly pouches, seperate the front from the back with the magstrip and carefully tape the front side of the pouch over the holo and make sure you line it up right and that glossy side is facing up. once done with that, run it through the laminator,and viola! you peel off the tape and peel off the butterfly piece and you got a transfered holo that is permanently on the from butterfly pouch, then what you do, is when you do your final run with the artisyn or teslin, put the front and back butterfly pouches over the artisyn or teslin and line it up evenly and tape 3 of the edges together. put it in a carrier, and run it through. you should have a pretty decent product after a lil sandpapering. also, make sure the carrier is thick enough not to destroy the holo. cuz if you run it through with something too thin or nothing at all, the holo gets fucked up. anyway. I was tired of hearing people ask, so i decided to explain it for yall! enjoy. and p.s. any info on the best method to do uv without destroying its when you run it through the laminator would be deeply appreciated.

Get a stamp man, dont bother with this method i think. for single logos of coarse.

Dont make holos with a stamp, thats the most unprofessional way of doing things. Just do the thermal transfer, its not hard and the steps are listed in this thread. Or just go on ebay and buy an alps for 200$

And james, download adobe master collection cs3 and i can give you the key

lol your seriously trying to sell a temp for $500 on here? I have a 1200dpi CA temp that i can just give to you guys, its color matched to my r800 so you might have to adjust it if you have another printer

well when i first came hear no one would trade shit for free but i was looking for tx temp i found it somewhere eels though. so go ahead upload all the temps so they are free and i will do the same. with my tx and cali. but as long as people are trading on hear i will trade also for temps the temp is worth 500 it was going for that on the carder sites. but thats diff story.

it kind of seems ( to me) that it's a case by case thing. When I first started people felt sorry for me, or were chill enough to donate.
